Search to be ‘stepped up’

Authorities are stepping up efforts to locate plus bring back Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya, to face consequence, Deputy Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Wissanu Krea-ngam stated yesterday.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission can also be considering whether to launch an inquiry against 15 people, including police officers plus soldiers, for their alleged role in impeding justice in the case.

The pursuit of Mr Vorayuth comes from an incident by which he crashed his car into a motorbike ridden by Pol Snr Sg Maj Wichian Klanprasert of Thong Lor police station in August 2012. The officer died in the crash.

Mr Vorayuth postponed court appearances more than five times before fleeing abroad in 2012.
