Efforts to return the body of those lost in the decline of the 2. 1-billion-baht State Audit Office creating in Bangkok, triggered by the 7. 7-magnitude quake in Myanmar on March 28, have concluded, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration announced on Saturday.

Suriyachai Rawiwon, chairman of the BMA’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, said the last areas, particularly a pull rod below the room degree, had been accessed, adding that no bodies or victims had been found after all six shafts were opened.

The focus may then shift to examining system parts existing in the removed rubble, with a K9 dog team also being deployed to search for remains, Mr Suriyachai said.

A bone fragment was found in the dirt on Friday, before two more tooth parts were discovered earlier Saturday.

Asked about seven missing persons who have not yet been located, Mr Suriyachai explained that larger bones were still undergoing investigative testing.

He said general development was in line with expectations.

Trials to hand over the page are on deadline for May 15 after city authorities sent a warning to the State Audit Office. The page will be handed again after the disaster region designation is lifted, he added.

As of Saturday night, the death toll stood at 89, with nine people injured and seven also missing. Officials also recently located four employees who were missing and had not been in the 30-storey high-rise during the March 28 collapse.

Next month, authorities are expected to challenge arrest warrants for three groups of people suspected of wrongdoing leading to the decline of the under-construction tower. It was the only tower in the money to decline during the earthquake.
