Scoot unveils new Embraer fleet for 6 locations in Malaysia and Thailand, flights start in May

Move may perform flights from Singapore to six South Eastern destinations with its fresh fleet of nine Embraer E190- E2 planes from May this year.

The portfolio includes fresh stops Koh Samui in Thailand and Sibu in Malaysia, along with existing destinations – Hat Yai and Krabi in Thailand, and Kuatan and Miri in Malaysia –the reduced- cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines just announced.

The second E190- E2 plane will be used on Scoot’s existing planes to Hat Yai and Krabi from May 7, after it is delivered from Embraer’s shop in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil&nbsp, in April, said the airport.

Scoot added that this will increase trip frequencies to both sites from seven to 10 days a year.

Airlines to Koh Samui and Miri are also slated to begin in May while those to Kuantan and Sibu may begin from June.

With the innovative pathways to Koh Samui and Sibu, Scoot’s system increased to 69 sites.

Bookings for flights operated by E190- E2 jets will made increasingly accessible via Scoot’s business, smart app and different channels. Economy group, inclusive of taxes, may begin from S$ 172 to Koh Samui and S$ 72 to Sibu.
