The ship, KD Pendekar, sank at&nbsp, 3.54pm, two nautical miles southeast of Tanjung Penyusop in Kota Tinggi, the Royal Malaysian Navy ( TDLM) said in a statement on Sunday evening.

The army added that no injuries were reported and that all 39 staff members had been saved before the ship was totally submerged.

The fleet is believed to have hit an unidentified underground thing, causing a hole that resulted in&nbsp,” serious flooding”, the military said in an earlier statement. &nbsp,

Despite efforts to control and stabilize the fleet, the hole was first discovered in the boat’s engine room, which quickly spread.
