Nine soldiers will soon be released from hospitals after suffering small wounds from an unintentional gun to the ship they were on table, according to the Royal Thai Navy on Friday.

The nine are reportedly awaiting medical clearance from Somdech Phra Nanghcoa Sirikit Hospital to travel house. However, five others remain under near see at the hospital in Sattahip area, Chon Buri state.

All of the victims were working on the HTMS Khirirat. When weapons from the front weapons of HTMS Chonburi accidentally descended, striking the back area of their ship on Thursday, they inhaled smoke. Both vessels were docked at the Sattahip marine center at the time of the event.

Adm Chartchai Thongsa- field, commander of the Royal Thai Fleet, has been given the task of leading the research into the incident by Navy Chief Adm Adung Phan-iam. Within three weeks, the outcome is anticipated.
