Nine troops will soon be released from hospitals, according to the Royal Thai Navy, after one of them received small wounds from an unintentional gun to the frigate they were on board.

The nine are reportedly waiting for medical advice from Somdech Phra Nanghcoa Sirikit Hospital to bring them home. However, five others remain under near view at the hospital in Sattahip area, Chon Buri state.

On the HTMS Khirirat, all the deaths were serving. When the front weapons of HTMS Chonburi accidentally discharged, striking the back part of their fleet on Thursday, they inhaled smoke. Both vessels were docked at the Sattahip marine center at the time of the event.

Adm Chartchai Thongsa- field, commander of the Royal Thai Fleet, has been given the task of leading the research into the incident by Navy captain Adm Adung Phan- devops. The outcome is anticipated in three weeks.
