On Tuesday, the Sai River overflowed in Chiang Rai state, causing flooding to Mae Sai border districts and the Sai Lom Joy business. &nbsp,

A lot of water was flown into the Sai River as a result of a heavy rain in the area, which caused it to flow and storm communities along the Myanmar-bound border.

Videos posted on social media showed flood in the Ta Lor industry in Myanmar’s Tachilek border town, in the Koh Sai and Mai Lung Khon areas, and in the Mae Sai and Sai Lom Joy industry in the center.

The flood was caused by heavy rains in the Sai River headwaters in local Myanmar, according to Mae Sai area chief Warayut Khomboon.

Prior to this, the Highways Department had established a river bank shelter line to stop flooding at the Thai-Myanmar gate. He claimed that this meant removing old walls and sandbags, which made it possible for rainwater to flow both ways across the borders.

The lender protection collection is a joint venture with Myanmar to stop flooding along the boundary. According to a knowledgeable resource, the Sai and Ruak streams will be dredged about 20 kilometers apart.
