A Russian girl was detained on suspicion of assault after allegedly punching a female business owner in the leg in Surat Thani province’s Koh Phangan.

Authorities said they will also request the immigration department to cancel her card.

Authorities arraigned the 40- season- old Russian, identified just as Alena, in Koh Samui Provincial Court on Wednesday.

She had previously been taken to the Koh Phangan police stop on Tuesday for questioning over the alleged abuse.

The 34- yr- ancient complainant, named just as Ms Satika, owns a store selling souvenirs and organic products on Koh Phangan, and is eight- months female. On Tuesday evening, she allegedly claimed that the Russian girl kicked her in the right foot and charged her with a charge against the police.

Under Part 295 of the Criminal Code, Ms. Alena was charged with assault causing physical and mental damage. The crime carries a prison term of up to 2 times and/or good up to 40, 000 rmb.

When being taken to Koh Samui Provincial Court, Ms. Alena was accompanied by a female colleague. When a police officer took pictures of her before entering a policeman car, she appeared upset and refused to answer questions from reporters.

It is claimed that the girl entered Ms Satika’s keep on Koh Phangan on March 18 while wearing shoes and a plastic cup of coffee. Individuals entering the store were told to remove their shoes, according to a mark on the door.

Ms. Santika called the police right away, who located her and took her to Koh Phangan police station to speak fees.

During doubting, Alena alleged admitted to kicking Ms Satika and apologised to her. She claimed that she had her phase that day and that it had gotten uncomfortable.

Surat Thani police commander Pol Maj Gen Sermphan Sirikhong gave an order to press charges and move forward with the situation. According to the law, the victim would be given support.
