Russian foreign minister dismisses US claims of North Korea supplying munitions to Moscow

Russian and North Korean officials claimed that enhancing security ties between the two nations was discussed during Kim’s six-day visit to Russia last quarter, which also included a meeting with Putin, but they made no mention of any certain actions.

According to the North’s standard Korean Central News Agency, Lavrov and Kim discussed other important issues of shared concern and shared opinions on efforts to strengthen bilateral ties in all places on Thursday. It claimed that Kim stated his intention to carry out the unknown partnerships he had made with Putin.

Lavrov said that the discussions were” comprehensive” and that” We have an understanding on how to proceed to fulfill the agreements” between Putin and Kim.

Lavrov stated in a statement that Russia greatly appreciated North Korea’s” steadfast and philosophical support” for its military activity in Ukraine after arriving in Pyongyang. He emphasized that diplomatic problems were the driving force behind the effort to improve relations between Russia and North Korea when he was again in Moscow.

” No one is the target of our companionship.” It’s meant to support the development of socially beneficial tasks, he said.

Lavrov also stated to investigators that he favors regular discussions with North Korea and China about safety concerns on the Korean Peninsula.
