Russia jails Australian man for fighting alongside Ukraine

According to Russian-installed prosecutors, an American gentleman who was kidnapped by Russian forces while fighting alongside Ukraine has been given a maximum-security sentence of 13 years.

Oscar Jenkins, 33, was found guilty on Friday of engaging in an military conflict as a soldier in a court run by Russia in held eastern Ukraine.

In the Luhansk place last December, Mr. Jenkins, a Melbourne professor, was apprehended.
