On Wednesday, a packed truck near Soi Sukhumvit 64 / 1 in Bangkok tipped over and caused worse traffic congestion than common. The steel slab covering the large hole in the active road was collapsed under the weight of the truck.

Under the skywalk of Punnawithi BTS place, where the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is installing underwater electrical cable and wire, the road surface collapsed as a large vehicle drove over it around 11.45 am.

According to police, two people were hurt and were taken to a local hospital.

Traffic was stopped on the three email roads, resulting in a visitors jelly that went all the way to the Bang Na crossing.

Drivers were warned to stay off of this path by the police.
