River Valley shophouse fire: Cooking school providing ‘full cooperation and assistance’ with investigations

A cooking class in Singapore is situated near a fatal blaze in River Valley; is offering full support and assistance to the officials as they look into the fire’s origin.

The vegetable cooking class is also providing assistance for those who lost their lives in the fire.

The blaze that took place at the storehouse has profoundly saddened and shocked us. In a Facebook post on Wednesday ( Apr 9 ) Tomato Cooking School stated that its thoughts are with all the families and individuals who have been affected by this difficult time.

The circumstances that caused the flames are now being looked into by the appropriate authorities. The continuing research is requiring our entire cooperation and assistance.

Our top goal at this time is still everyone’s health and well-being. We will remain to cooperate with the government and provide updates as necessary. ”

Tuesday night, the blaze broke out at  The name of the three-storey shophouse where education classes for babies are held is 278 River Valley Road.   The tower also has a theater group and a technology class, in addition to the cooking class.

Six people and 16 children were among the twenty-two people who were taken to facilities following the fireplace.   The children were between the ages of six and ten while the parents were between the ages of 23 and 55.

A 10-year-old woman eventually passed away in a hospital.
