Renovations duo caught stealing from drunk tourists at pool villas

Two construction workers have been detained in Pattaya after breaking into pool villas to steal from drunken guests while they slept. &nbsp,

More than 100 stolen goods, including expensive products, technology, and international currency, have been seized by officers, with damages estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of ringgit.

Athip” Shoulder” Somluesaen, 31, and Kun, 22, both of whom are Thai nationals, were detained by Pol Col. Anek Sratongyu, the captain of Pattaya officers, and Pol Lt. Col. Arut Saphanon, the assistant commander investigator. The suspects had formerly worked as companies at the palaces, gaining so understanding of the properties ‘ layouts and entry points.

In May, Thai and international travelers reported missing belongings after parties at their occupied villas, and the arrests came as a result of these complaints. Two people arrived on a bike, according to security camera footage. According to Pol Col Anek, authorities found them at a rented home in Soi Khao Makok, where a search turned up a treasure of stolen goods.

Luxury watches, Louis Vuitton luggage, Nintendo devices, mobile devices, ID cards, credit cards, and a variety of international currencies were recovered. The suspects gave their accounts about the incidents, saying they waited until the travellers were asleep and intoxicated before entering the palaces to take.

They acknowledged that they sold the stolen items to pay daily expenses and use of drugs. Both men have been charged with fraud by the officers, and the legal battle is raging. Sufferers are being asked to present rights documentation in order to regain their belongings.
