SINGAPORE: Couples who want to solemnize their weddings on the weekends can do so at the interim site in Esplanade Mall, where the Registry of Marriages ( ROM) and the Registry of Muslim Marriages ( ROMM) are active, while their regular, regular Canning Rise location is being renovated until 2028.
According to a joint media release released on Monday ( Apr 14), couples who prefer weekend ceremonies said this is in response to feedback from those who prefer to see their loved ones and friends.
People can maintain their solemnities on Weekends starting on May 17 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for legal marriages. Through the website, they may reserve their preferred timeslots from April 14 through the following six months in advance.
From October, people are encouraged to consider neighborhood facilities, including mosques, for their solemnizations, according to the ministries.
