For now, the Third Rail star intends to “take things slow and adjust into (her) new roles as a mother”.
“There are just so many things that I need to learn and unlearn. Also, I don’t wish to miss out on these growing months where the baby changes every other day. I’ll also definitely need a doctor’s advice as to when I’m fit enough to go back to work.
“There has been some (work) in the pipeline but we are all taking it one step at a time. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at work for their patience and understanding.”
When asked what she wishes for her child, Rebecca said: “All the most wonderful things. But I hope that my baby will grow up to be kind, respectful and happy. And that my new family will make lots of wonderful memories together, with our families and close friends for many healthy years ahead.”
She also revealed that she had already “packed all (her) red packets to give away during Lunar New Year” before going into labour as she knew she would be very busy.
“I still want some festive cheer in the house for my child so as much as I will try to get whatever rest I can possibly have, I’m looking forward for my family to spend their first Lunar New Year with my baby.”
