Rapper Fetty Wap arrested and his $500,000 bond revoked after allegedly wielding a gun during a Facetime video call
Fetty Wap was indicted and arrested within October along with five others on a drug trafficking conspiracy charge.
He pleaded not liable and was released on $500, 000 bond as he awaited trial, and one of the situations listed in the release purchase stated that he “must not possess a firearm, destructive device, or other weapon. ” Another said that he or she “must not break any federal, condition or local legislation. ”
Prosecutors accuse Fetty Wap, whose legal name is Willie Younger Maxwell II, of violating those situations during a December 11 FaceTime call in which usually he was apparently seen holding a gun and threatening to kill an un-named man, according to a good affidavit supporting revocation filed in the Eastern District Court of recent York.
Nyc Magistrate Judge Steven Locke revoked the rapper’s bond following his Monday arrest in New Jersey, according to John Marzulli, spokesperson for the Eastern Area of New York.
In a video documenting of the call, Fetty Wap allegedly directed the gun towards him over the mobile phone, the affidavit stated. The man is recognized as John Doe in the record.
“The defendant then says to Someone in particular ‘Imma kill you plus everybody you with, ‘” according to the record.
The affidavit alleges the fact that rapper threatened the man several times during the contact.
