smuggling medications into Australia and the Philippines

At a wharf in Chachoengsao’s Bang Pakong district on Monday night, police detained 13 fleeing suspects and seized 2 tonnes of crystal meth.
The medicines were thought to be headed for Australia and the Philippines.
Around 9.30 p.m. on Monday, sea and drug reduction police searched the seafaring push Srimongkolsap at the TNS Bangpakong jetty in the Bang Pakong city after receiving information about a drug trafficking operation, according to police.
People jumped from the ship into the river in an effort to escape as the police drew near. Police apprehended 13 of them, all of whom were Thai. ( Coninues are below )

In houses below deck, the investigators discovered 90 cardboard cartons containing 2, 000 kilograms of crystal meth. According to Pol Maj Gen Pharitphong, captain of the Sea Police Division, the medications were compressed and concealed in sacks of dried fruits to mask the odor.
He claimed that once the push was in international waters, authorities had learned that the smugglers intended to outsource the drugs to other ships. The Philippines, Australia, and other nations were supposed to receive the medication.  ,
The seized drugs were examined at the pier by Pol Maj Gen Somboon Thiankhao, deputy chief of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau ( NSB), as well as assistant national police chief and pol Lt Gen Samran Nuanma.
The seized medication and all suspects were turned over to NSB investigators for legal actions.
