New support is required for Grand Prix competitions.

Sorawong Thienthong, the minister of tourism and sports, provided an update on the Thailand-based organization’s commitment to sponsor the MotoGP Grand Prix function, calling for more participation from the private sector.
Mr. Sorawong stated on Friday that the Tourism Authority of Thailand is presently talking with government agencies about the country’s MotoGP event registration.
The secretary also emphasized the significance of private sector engagement.
He claimed that since the government has supported the organization for seven years and has hosted it then, it is time for private companies to move in.
Personal participation is urged to support the event given the spectacular viewership and financial benefits. He claimed that this support may allow the event to maintain while lowering the state’s financing.
He refrained from making any claims that there might be political intervention, saying that the sport’s issue is related to politics.
He claimed that” sports and politics should not be combined.”
In response to the growing gap between the decision Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai events, the government’s plans to stop sponsoring the MotoGP Grand Prix event, reports of its plan to stop sponsorship surfaced last fortnight.
Newin Chidchob, the de facto leader of Bhumjaithai, is the president of Chang International Circuit, the event’s location in Buri Ram.
Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra responded to the situation by saying that the lease renewal decision will be based on income, no elections.
Mr. Sorawong stated that MotoGP had take precedence over Formula One.
He claimed that F1 prefers a street circuit concept over a feasibility study in the ongoing discussions. By 2028, the investigation is expected to be complete.
The 2025 PT Grand Prix of Thailand was held this year between February 28 and March 2. Formally known as the MotoGP culture, it was held this year.
The culture, which was the MotoGP calendar’s opening event, attracted 224, 624 fans, which is a document for the circuit, and contributed 5.04 billion baht to Buri Ram’s and its neighboring provinces ‘ markets.
The state agreed to pay a 300 million bass monthly payment to hold the MotoGP Grand Prix at Buri Ram’s Chang International Circuit from 2018 to 2020.
