Deputy Attorney-General Ang Cheng Hock received his Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore in 1995, and he was admitted to the table the following year.
Before earning a King of Laws from Yale Law School in 1998, he worked as a Justices ‘ Law Assistant in the Supreme Court in the years that followed.  ,
Mr. Ang joined the renowned law firm Allen &, Gledhill in 1999, and he became a lover the following month. His areas of practice were in legal and professional dispute, and international arbitration issues, among others.  ,
At age 38, Mr. Ang was one of the youngest to be appointed top counsel in 2009.
Mr. Ang was appointed Supreme Court Judicial Commissioner in 2018 and promoted to High Court Judge in 2019.  ,
In addition to ruling in well-known cases, Mr. Ang has ruled in several cases, including the first challenge to correctional orders issued under the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act ( POFMA ).  ,
Singapore Democratic Party launched an appeal against the labor minister’s requests for modification for statements made in an essay on the opposition party’s site, Facebook, and two other Twitter posts.
Mr. Ang rejected Chee Quickly Juan’s arguments and determined that there was a legitimate basis for all three modification directions.  ,
He also discovered that when changes requests are challenged in court, the government is responsible for carrying out the burden of proof, meaning that the government must establish the falsity of a speech.
Eventually, the Court of Appeal upheld two additional modification directions and the other portion of the second correction direction while overturning one portion of a correction direction.
Mr Ang has also been part of broader reforms to Singapore’s legal justice system. He served as the head of the New Rules of Court Implementation Team and the seat of the Ministry of Justice’s Civil Justice Review Committee.

Mr. Jumabhoy, a skilled attorney, began his legal career in 2003 as a solicitor in London after earning his Bachelor of Law from Kings College London the following year.  ,
In London, Mr Jumabhoy defended in judge testing across a range of legal crimes, including murder, armed robbery, rape and high-value scams.
He returned to Singapore in 2011 and joined the AGC as a Deputy Public Prosecutor.  ,
He was initially assigned to the investment crimes team to prosecute crimes like drug trafficking and murder.  ,
While working for this team, he prosecuted the event of a previous factory worker who viciously murdered a Filipino girl. The accused in this case, Bijukumar Remadevi Nair Gopinathan, was later sentenced to life imprisonment.  ,
Mr. Jumabhoy moved on to the 2012 economic acts case.  , One of his most renowned prosecutions , was the high-profile” sex-for-grades” test in 2013, where former law professor Tey Tsun Hang was accused of fraudulently receiving donations and sex from an ex-student.  ,
After serving five months in prison, Mr. Tey was found guilty of his costs but later acquitted in a shocking change on appeal.  ,
In 2014, Mr. Jumabhoy was promoted to Deputy Senior State Counsel. Bernard Lim Yong Immediately, a former National Parks Board official, was found guilty of providing false details to Ministry of National Development examiners in the same year for a deal to purchase 26 Brompton bicycles.
Mr. Lim was given a great against the lawyer’s proposed three to four-month statement.
Mr Jumabhoy’s LinkedIn account state he was at AGC until 2016 before doing a two-year stay at law company KL &, Gates.
He joined another law organization, Peter Low &, Choo, in 2018 as a producer. While there,  , he and a partner argued the charm of a drug kingpin, which afterwards became a landmark event for setting out the lawyer’s reporting duty.
Muhammad Nabill Mohd Fuad, the accused person, was found guilty in the High Court in 2018 of prostitution heroin and marijuana and was given a death sentence.  ,
The peak judge eventually found Nabill guilty on a reduced cost and sentenced him to eight years in prison for drug possession after appealing.  ,
