Priscilla Presley remembers Elvis on the 45th anniversary of his death

Presley, who was married to the ruler of rock and roll, talked to “Today” about her memories plus time with him. Elvis died of the heart attack on Aug. 16, 1977, with his Graceland home in Memphis. This individual was 42.
“Oh my gosh, ” the girl said, “It’s a large week that’s for certain. ”
She added, “Anything he wanted to perform or wished to perform as far as in life, I wish to try to get that will to happen. It’s a huge responsibility. ”
Presley has been joined by more than 30, 000 enthusiasts for a candlelight vigil on Monday.
To find the amount of people that still come to see Elvis is unbelievable, ” she said of the event.
Presley also weighed in on “Elvis, ” the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie depending on his life.
“I mean what a great movie, ” she said, “Baz Luhrmann I have to say is a genius, I don’t know anyone else who could’ve done this film like he did. ”
“I lived Elvis trying to explain which he didn’t want to do the movies with all the girls as well as the beaches and almost everything, that he really desired to do serious issues so living that will with him then watching the movie brought back a lot of memories, ” she said of the movie.
