President Tharman to visit India, marking 60 years of ties with Singapore

Thailand’s president, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, may create a condition visit to India to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

His five-day visit, which begins on Jan 14, comes at the&nbsp, invitation of Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MFA ) said in a press statement on Monday ( Jan 13 ). &nbsp,

Mr. Tharman may travel to Odisha from January 17 to January 18 and New Delhi from January 15 to January 16 respectively. &nbsp,

Mr. Tharman will be welcomed ceremonially to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the political house, where he will be hosted to a state dinner by Mr. Murmu. &nbsp,

Before returning to the Raj Ghat in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, Mr. Tharman may meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other officials. &nbsp,

During his visit to the American money, Mr Tharman did meet international Singaporeans in New Delhi at a greeting to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Singapore-India political relations, as well as Singapore’s 60th year of freedom.

In a closed-door roundtable discussion, he will also speak with a team of Indian thought officials.

Also, Mr. Tharman will present the Honorary Citizen Award to Mr. Tarun Das, the original Confederation of Indian Industry director standard.
