Indonesian men who choose to enter royal polygamous marriages have a lot of fun in Thailand’s southern provinces.

Every month, at least 30 people from Malaysia attend the ceremony at the Narathiwat Islamic Religious Council, according to Bernama media company.

They frequently came from the state of Kelantan and Terengganu, but occasionally as far as Kuala Lumpur, according to the report.

” But, getting married in southern Thailand is not as easy as it may seem. According to provincial government deputy president Abdul Aziz Mamatn, there are specific requirements that must be met, including context checks on the couple.

Mr. Aziz did not explain why Malay engage in marriage, which is permitted by Islam, in such a common way.

This pattern can be seen in other southern boundary regions as well.

According to the Indonesian embassy in Songkhla, about 300 Malay couples tie the knot in Songkhla state every month, the Malay Mail&nbsp, reported in February, citing a statement from he Malaysian- language&nbsp, Sinar Harian.

Consul Ahmad Fahmi Ahmad Sarkawi said that Narathiwat, Yala, Pattani and Satun were the other popular spots for relationship.
