3 out of every four individuals are worried by the fact that more Covid-19 instances have been found in colleges, a survey from the Health Department has found.
Department chief Suwanchai Wattanayingcharoenchai said the particular poll was carried out from July 6-18, to find out whether people in general were concerned by the continued bacterial infections in schools. This individual gave no details of the survey technique.
He mentioned a clear majority, 76. 2%, of respondents said they were worried.
Requested why, with every respondent allowed to provide more than one answer, 69. 7% said they will feared that children might spread herpes to their families; fifty five. 0% were scared infected children would certainly develop severe symptoms; and 41. 5% said with kids being infected, health care and treatment could affect their work and income.
Asked exactly what behaviour they thought could put youngsters at-risk of being infected, 60% of respondents said children speaking or playing in groups without wearing a face mask; 45% pointed to children within close contact whilst taking part in group routines; and 30% children sharing utensils plus glasses while eating.
Questioned what measures should be taken if kids were infected during school, 48. 3% said the student’s class should be shut for sterilising and reopened as usual; 41% said teachers plus children should consider antigen tests just before schools are re-opened; and 40. 7% said schools along with infected children should strictly comply with an emergency response plan.
