Politician among teen prostitution case suspects

According to a police cause, authorities in Saraburi have issued arrest warrants for five defendants, one of whom is reportedly purchasing sexual services from an underage person.

In order to bring out the scenario, Pol Maj Gen Wichit Boonchinnawutthikul, the captain of the Saraburi Provincial Police, appointed his deputation, Mr. Col Surapoj Rotbamrung, as the mind of a working team with the assistance of authorities in the state.

A teacher and the parents of a 15-year-old female lately complained to police in Saraburi about the girl’s mother, Ms. Mamiao, who allegedly coerced her child into prostitution at the hotel she worked at in the Ban Mo district.

The girl told the police who 5 – 6 men she claimed had paid to have sex with her were. According to the authorities source, one of these clients was reportedly a well-known politician who spoke on behalf of an important partnership party.

According to the woman, police have gathered information to request arrest warrants for five offenders, according to Pol Col. Somkid Sawisai, the analysis group’s leader.

They were identified as Mr. Pornchai, a specialist in Lop Buri and former chairman of the National Office of Buddhism in Saraburi. They also identified themselves as politicians and medical staff members.

According to Pol Col. Somkid, another believe in the case is not being arrested because there is insufficient evidence in his situation.

While police were looking into whether the accused former chairman had any involvement in the case, Mr. Suriya and Mr Pornchai have so far been released on bail.

The accused lawmaker was being persuaded by soldiers to turn himself in to the police.
