As the officers research gets more serious, a third-year scholar at Thammasat University may face additional charges if she admits stabbing and seriously wounding a second-year student.

The 23- yr- older student, identified just as Ms B, stabbed her 19- year- ancient freshman boyfriend — named just as A — in the neck with a fruit knife on Sunday in a dormitory. Both individuals attend the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The younger man had gone to the bedroom where they were staying to tell her that he wanted to end their relationship.

She attempted to persuade him to change his mind, but he refused, according to authorities.

Angered by his refusal, the girl grabbed the knife and plunged it into his throat, causing severe injury. He was rushed to Thammasat University Hospital, where doctors said he was in stable state.

Despite having been originally charged with rape posing a threat to life, messages were posted on social media that Ms B was still enrolling in classes at the school’s Rangsit school. This has presumably disturbed other students.

The girl was remanded in police custody but eventually released on 100, 000 ringgit bail, according to Pol Col Wissanurak Prommet, deputy chief of the Pathum Thani officers.

Before deciding whether more fees may be brought against the victim, police were interviewing him in a hospital and were waiting for information about how he was doing.

A scholar disciplinary investigation has been launched by the school’s Faculty of Science and Technology.
