The three fishing boats that were seized from a wharf in Chon Buri last year were recovered by police as part of a smuggling operation, but the 330, 000 litres of illegal energy they were carrying were missing.

The three arteries- the Kamraingoen, JP and Daorung- were found near Malaysia on Sunday. They were towed to the wharf at Marine Police Division 7 in Songkhla, arriving at 7.35pm on Monday. One of the vessels had a partially repainted exterior, and the other had a broken website.

The illegal oil was evidently sold, according to Pol Maj Gen Charoonkiat Pankaew, the Central Investigation Bureau deputy director. Before they finished altering the ships ‘ appearance, the pirates were thought to have fled from a pier in Cambodia.

He claimed that the vehicles were almost empty when the warships were recovered at ocean on Sunday.

He claimed that the three boats were allegedly carrying oil worth$ 4 to$ 5 million on the black market for contraband fuel when they were first seized. The three vessels were worth a lot more, about 30 million ringgit.

Three or four officers officers, according to Pol Maj Gen. Charoonkiat, will be held accountable for the June 12 removal of the vessels from Chon Buri’s Sattahip district’s sea police pier.
