Reintroducing Pol Gen Surachate “raises a chance”
According to a cause, the Police Commission will meet on Wednesday to determine whether the Royal Thai Police’s decision to fire assistant federal police captain Pol Gen Surachate” Big Joke” Hakparn was unlawful.
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who also serves as chairman of the Police Commission, may rule over the appointment, starting at 3pm.
An honourable member of the commission, Pol Gen Ek Angsananont, warned that the administrative sub-panel that would have approved his dismissal would be regarded as having conducted misconduct in the wake of the decision.
Under an education by the committee, the sub- board, chaired by previous deputy police chief Pol Gen Winai Thongson, on June 17 considered the Council of State’s legal interpretation of the order to reject Pol Gen Surachate. The view was requested by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat Office.
The government decided that the dismissal order was appropriate and only. The Supreme Administrative Court’s rejection of the Council of State’s view was ignored, despite the fact that the sub-panel continued to support the departure and supported the departure without considering whether it was a conversation or an action required by condition agencies.
Each organization has its own plan, has its own discretion, and is not required to act on the Council of State’s recommendations.
The Police Commission typically acknowledges the results or decisions of the sub-panel.
Any attempt to appoint Pol Gen Surachate to the police power, according to Pol Gen Ek, may have a chance. He continued,” It would be safer for all parties to wait until the Police Virtue Protection Commitee takes the issue into account first.”
In an effort to bridge the growing split between them, Mr. Srettha transferred both Pol Gen Surachate and National Police Chief Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol to the Prime Minister’s Office on March 20.
Speaking police chief Kitrat Phanphet was appointed acting assistant federal police chief. While there were rumors that Pol Gen Surachate may face charges of money laundering in connection with online gambling sites.
According to Wissanu Krea- ngam, the PM’s constitutional adviser, a recent investigation revealed conflicts and disorder at all levels within the Royal Thai Police. It was not clear whether they were caused by one single incident or by multiple sources.
