On Friday, a police raid on a gaming den in the city Muang area of Phuket resulted in the arrest of thirty-two gamblers, with reports suggesting a police inspector was one of the people caught in the act.
Around 1am, a group of Muang police stop soldiers made a raid on the gaming den on Chanacharoen Road in tambon Talad Yai.
Upon seeing the law officials, the people that tried to flee, but failed.
During the assault, the crew arrested 32 gamblers, both men and women, and seized playing products, along with 1, 700 ringgit in money.
All were transported to the Muang train for legal action.
The attack was conducted in response to an investigation into illegitimate gambling activities conducted that, according to Pol Col Prathueng Phonmana, head of Muang officers.
One of the players, according to a cause, worked for the Provincial Police Region 8 as a police investigator. A fact-finding analysis was examining the officer’s role in the situation.
