Torsak insists there’s no conflict, denies reports that he plans to retire earlier
Surachate” Great Joke” Hakparn, who has threatened to sue the Police Commission for confirming his departure, declined to respond to questions about federal police chief Torsak Sukvimol on Wednesday.
Pol Gen Torsak stated in his first press meeting since being transferred back to the Royal Thai Police next month that he had no opinion of the agency’s choice.
After realizing that the long-running conflict between Pol Gen Torsak and Pol Gen Surachate was distracting the army, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin moved both to inert positions in March.
Following that, Pol Gen Surachate was fired amid allegations that he was connected to online gaming. He is requesting a misconduct investigation against the prime minister and is appealing the purchase.  ,
When questioned about Pol Gen Surachate’s complaint asking him to rescind the departure order, Pol Gen Torsak said he had not yet seen it and did not want to address the issue.
He added that since there was no fight between him and Pol Gen Surachate, the situation should not be brought up.
The policeman commission backed the departure purchase that was signed by acting police chief Pol Gen Kitrat Phanphet, the deputy police chief at the time, by a vote of 12:0 next week.
If the Police Merit Systems Protection Board upholds the departure order, Pol Gen Surachate has threatened to sue Mr. Srettha and the other 11 percentage users.
Pol Gen Torsak even refuted media reports that he would step down before his final day of service, September 30. He claimed to be totally committed to his duties and to working with his deputy.
The result of a new assault on hired gunmen and legal networks was revealed by the federal police commander on Wednesday at a press conference held by the Crime Suppression Division.
In the procedure that targeted 183 areas nationwide, a large number of firearms, including 880 weapons and 6, 936 rounds of ammunition, were taken and a total of 87 people were detained. Seven million meth tablets were likewise seized.
