Police are made to believe by social media posts.
After abducting a nine-month-old kid from Bangkok, a ladyboy was detained in Rayong. Social media tidbits that were a source of information for policeman helped find the ladyboy’s movements.
Ekapop Luengprasert, an assistant to the internal secretary and founder of the Sai Mai Tong Rod or Survive Sai Mai Facebook page, took the child’s 54- year- ancient grandfather to join Lt Anon Kattaisong, deputy inspector of Bang Na police station, on Tuesday to beg him to move up the manhunt.
The father raised the alarm after the nine- month- older child, Martin, was abducted by Noi Saengwan, a 52- yr- ancient ladyboy, whom news reports say he knew. When Martin’s grandfather approached him to ask if he could hold him, promising to take him to a convenience store, the abduction occurred at 3 o’clock that day at the Wat Bang Na Nok temple in the Bang Na district. He was given permission by the grandfather.
Surveillance camera footage showed that Noi took a motorcycle taxi to a bus stop near Bang Na intersection and a bus to Chatuchak district’s Mo Chit Bus Terminal, or Mo Chit 2, from where he was holding the child in a rush. The abductor feared selling the boy, according to the child’s family.
Good Samaritans posted information about Noi’s whereabouts on social media throughout the day to aid in the search for him. On Wednesday, the abductor was spotted holding the child in a minibus traveling to Rayong.
When the minibus arrived, the police were able to apprehend Noi at the Rayong bus terminal, where he was later handed over to his family.
Noi asserted during the initial questioning that he had no intention of selling the child. He claimed to be in Chanthaburi to see his former employer while returning home. He claims he found employment in a Wat Bang Na Nok construction camp.
He is accused of kidnapping a child from his parents. Additionally, it was discovered that he had a history of theft and drug use.
