PM’s dad says no plans for a reshuffle

Former premierThaksin Shinawatrasaid there is no plan to reshuffle cabinet after the censure debate slated to take place at the end of the month, saying the government remains united.

His statement echoed those made by Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the prime minister, on Saturday, when she assured ministers that they would continue in their current positions despite the risk of a new reprimand debate.

Over the past month, media coverage of a pending change has gained traction.

According to reports, the Kla Dharma Party, which is looking to change its nominee for the position of Agriculture Minister with gathering director Capt Thamanat Prompow, was behind the rumor that the party was changing.

” The prime minister and I talk to each other often. As far as I know, now isn’t the time]for changes in the case ]”, he said.

Ms. Paetongtarn, he said, was surprised by the speculation because she has not thought about the matter.

The prime minister will talk with coalition partners before holding a reshuffle, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is the party’s leader.
