PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister have not decided if he can table Budget 2023, but for now it will probably be tabled by the Financial Minister.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the particular Federal Constitution must be referred to determine if the top Minister can table the Budget.
“We shall wait for the particular Attorney General in order to advise.
“If it is permitted, we can consider it. Whatever it is, we will wait for the advice.

“I cannot table it if it is lady, ” he told reporters after dealing with civil servants on the annual meet upon Tuesday (Aug 30).
Media reports quoted Perikatan Lokal chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin since claiming that Budget 2023 will be tabled by the Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich).
He claimed that he was advised of the matter by “friends in the Cabinet”.
Budget 2023 will be tabled on Oct 7.
