As he wrapped up his three-day tour of the area on Sunday, Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, pledged to encourage agricultural products from the Northeast, including natural grain and superior meat.

Mr Srettha, accompanied by some government officials, visited Roi Et, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket and Surin from Friday until Sunday, to discover each state’s ability and issues.

He promised to encourage the country’s agricultural create in an effort to enhance the local economy by speaking to the media at the Rattanaburi School in Surin, where he ended his journey of the area.

He pledged to support the development of” Surin- gyu,” a breed of Chinese animals that is being reared in the state and is starting to gain traction in the market. He even promised to update the state’s farms to meet international standards.

According to Surin, the country’s farmers regularly report substantial grain yields during the rice production season, and Mr. Srettha said authorities may find a way to make sure the high output results in better livelihoods for the province’s farmers.

Organic rose wheat from the state sells for around 45 baht a kilogramme, up to three times the price of similar light rice from different provinces, which fetches between 15- 20 baht per kilogramme. Grown healthy grain from Surin, however, may fetch up to 100 ringgit per kilogramme.

In an effort to address the state’s water scarcity issue, Mr. Srettha claimed he had visited Huai Kaew pond in Roi Et.

He stated that the government will continue to prioritize the province’s higher levels of drug-related offense, which is known for its high rates of illicit drug trafficking.

The premier likewise visited a rehab facility and stated that he wants to include measures set by September to address the province’s drug problems.

In Si Sa Ket, the top inspected the costs of agricultural products. He said he was pleased that the prices of some make, such as scallions, are higher this year.

In Ubon Ratchathani, the prime minister addressed the issue of ocean control.

He declared that he would travel back to the state to participate in the renowned Candle Festival, which will take place from July 20 to July 21 to mark the beginning of the Buddhist Lent.
