After an view surveys revealed his reputation and that of the ruling Pheu Thai Party had declined, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin pledged to work harder to increase the president’s performance. He vowed to do so in order to lag behind their primary political adversaries.

According to the quarterly poll conducted by the National Institute of Development Administration ( Nida ), the popularity of Mr. Srettha and Pheu Thai has continued to decline while Pita Limjaroenrat and the Move Forward Party’s ( MFP ) popularity has continued to grow. Despite the efforts being made by the government to restart the market, this is untrue.

The results, released on Sunday, showed only 12.85 % of voters supported the prime minister, a drop from 17.75 % in the previous survey. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the youngest daughter of former prime minister Thaksin, also saw her popularity decline from 6 % to 4.85 %.

According to those who were polled by Nida, Mr. Srettha is a steadfast decision-maker who is determined to solve their issues. Ms Paetongtarn, however, was praised for her vision, management, knowledge and understanding of the region’s problems.

The prime minister, who was making an official visit to the Northeast, stated in Surin on Sunday that he would continue to listen to issues plaguing Thai people. His next time visiting the area in a month.

After receiving widespread criticism, he has since reduced his international travels, insisting that some excursions were required to promote Thailand to foreign investors.

He told investigators on Sunday&nbsp, that the statistic result reminded him to work harder.

The ballot “reflects the opinions of our job” He remarked that we must work harder to discover what people actually want and provide what they need and also addressing their issues.

He stated that he and his government will continue to travel the country until his four-year term expires to listen to the problems of the people.

Asked if he will change his strategy to win again the people’s respect, Mr Srettha said:” We continually adjust our technique, whether there is a ballot or not. The state receives input from the viewpoint survey.

He noted that some important government initiatives have n’t yet been implemented because the current fiscal year’s budget was only approved about two months ago.

The 3.48 trillion- baht resources for the 2024 governmental season, which began on Oct 1 next year, was suddenly passed in April, as it took a long time to form a government after the last election.

” I do n’t want to use the budget as an excuse every time …]but ] we have to admit that it affected the government’s performance. We need some time]to improve ]”, the prime minister said.

According to the Nida poll, MFP chief adviser Pita maintained his lead over all other prime minister candidates, with a 45.5 % approval rating, a slight increase from 42.75 % from the last quarter poll.

Meanwhile, Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, the United Thai Nation Party leader, saw his popularity almost double from 3.55 % to 6.85 %.

Nida’s survey revealed that those who questioned him admired his broad-based political philosophy and his wisdom.

They supported Mr Pirapan for his trust, clear image and credibility.
