PM pitches Housing for Thais project

The subscription process begins the month of May.

The president’s new housing project will be available for enrollment in January, offering 1 million fully-furnished economical units to the public.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra made the remarks in a televised address on the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand stream on Thursday regarding the government’s achievement in its first three months in office.

She added that the government will drive for a 20-baht flat rate for all electronic coach lines serving Greater Bangkok in addition to providing high-quality, cheap accommodation with 99-year contracts.

Repayments will start at about 4, 000 ringgit per month, offering several citizens exposure to housing, she said.

Thaksin Shinawatra, a former prime minister and Ms Paetongtarn’s father, even elaborated on the cover job during a workshop held by the decision Pheu Thai Party in Prachuab Khiri Khan’s Hua Hin area on Friday.

He claimed that the project aims to help those who want to get a home but can’t afford the exorbitant price or significant down payment.

” Their life will increase. When their pay rises, they may consider purchasing vehicles. Their hopes may come true, Thaksin said, adding that the Government Housing Bank would provide the project’s funding.

Thaksin claimed that the project’s development costs are affordable, allowing investors from the private sector to make an investment.

Thaksin said that about 1 million products will be built under the job, but first about 300, 000 models are expected to be completed before the close of the president’s career.

The homes will have an electric shower toilet as well as full-furnished furnishings. It is not intended for the underprivileged. It is intended for those who are resurrecting their lives, Thaksin said.

Suriya Jungrungreangkit, the minister of transportation, stated at the seminar that a housing project will be built on the land owned by the State Railway of Thailand ( SRT ).

On January 20, he said, type homes will be displayed at the Bang Sue Grand Station.

Doubts will start the same quarter, he said, adding the instalment repayment time may last up to 30 years, with 99-year contracts. Payments of home equity will only be permitted after five years of residence, according to the minister.

According to a cause with the Transport Ministry, the railroad community in Bangkok’s Chatuchak area, Pathum Thani neighborhoods close to the Chiang Mai railway station, and areas close to the Chiang Mai railway station, are three possible locations for the housing development.

A source for SRT said a survey has revealed that about 38, 000 rai of SRT land in Bangkok and its five neighboring provinces is still unused. According to the source, potential development areas must be close to SRT stations, community centers, and in provinces that serve as regional economic centers.
