PM Lee Hsien Loong, Ho Ching to receive awards in Brunei

SINGAPORE: Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching will receive awards during a visit to Brunei from Thursday night (Jul 14) in order to Saturday.

Mr Lee will make a working visit to Brunei to attend the 76th birthday celebrations of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei.

During the visit, the Prime Minister  will receive The majority of Esteemed Family Order (Darjah Kerabat Laila Utama), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) mentioned on Thursday.

Previous recipients from the order include Singapore’s founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew and Indonesian Chief executive Joko Widodo.

Mdm Ho will certainly receive The Most Recognized Order of Paduka Seri Laila Jasa (Darjah Paduka Seri Laila Jasa) – First Class.

The particular award presentation ceremony will be held in the Istana Nurul Iman.

During the visit, Mr Lee will be accompanied by Dr Maliki Osman, who is Minister in the PMO plus Second Minister with regard to Education and Foreign Affairs.

Officials from the PMO, the Ministry of International Affairs and the Ministry of Communications plus Information will also be in Brunei with Mister Lee.

Apart from attending the investiture ceremony and the royal banquet, Mr Shelter will have an market with the Sultan and meet various Bruneian ministers during his visit, said the particular PMO.

He will also visit the Singapore Armed Forces’ instruction facilities in Temburong.
