SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time and may self-isolate while working from home.  ,
Mr. Wong claimed in a Facebook post on Tuesday ( Dec. 3 ) that he had a bad sore throat after a long period of work travel.
” First, I believed it might just be a typical flu bug. But I only took a check to be certain. Turns out, I’ve suddenly succumbed to COVID after all these ages”! he wrote.
” I’m feeling good overall, and did self-isolate while working from home”.
Mr Wong just visited Bangkok , at the invitation of his , Thai counterpart , Paetongtarn Shinawatra. Before that, he was at , the APEC summit in Peru and G20 conference in Brazil.
As the holiday season draws to a close and many people are traveling, Mr. Wong advised the government to be informed about their fever photos and treatments.
” If you’re feeling unwell, wearing a helmet and take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and those around you”, he added.  ,
