On Monday, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra will guide her case to the northern provinces of Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, and Mukdahan to examine important projects and assess native challenges ahead of a portable cabinet meeting scheduled the day after that in Nakhon Phanom.

The prime minister’s vacation will concentrate on efforts to stop drug trafficking along the Mekong River, liquid asset management, sustainable development, and cross-border trade.

Ms. Paetongtarn will stop at a craft center in Nawa city of Nakhon Phanom to promote a” sustainable style” unit and then travel to Don Koen Park in the Muang city of Sakon Nakhon to review a significant waters rehabilitation project. She will then speak at a nearby social service by the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom before leading a conference on cross-border drug smuggling at the military’s Mekong Riverine Device.

Ms. Paetongtarn will take the helm of Nakhon Phanom University’s following mobile cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning, where she will examine the Nakhon Phanom Customs Office and key border gates for Laos-related cross-border business operations.

According to government spokesman Jirayu Houngsub, the prime minister’s visit to the Northeast is intended to monitor the progress of development projects and address issues in all areas, including urban development and tourism.

” Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan are high-potential provinces, located along the border with Laos, with major transportation links connecting all the way to central Vietnam through Da Nang. As a result of the cabinet’s visit, the government will be able to better understand opportunities for further development and solutions to already-solved problems, helping these provinces increase their competitiveness in terms of trade, investment, and drug control. He said that reducing drug problems will in turn help to raise the quality of life in the area.
