PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob ( picture ) has denied claims that he is being forced by Umno and it is at risk of being sacked by the party.
The Prime Minister, who may be also Umno vice-president, said the best council meeting upon Saturday (Aug 27) was warm and cordial.
“There is no issue. Occasionally, people outside look at things differently while the situation inside is different.
“There is no issue in Umno; we respect variations of opinion, ” he told reporters after addressing the particular annual civil maids gathering on Tuesday (Aug 30).
Umno has been pressuring for the national forms to be called as soon as possible.
Demands with regard to polls to be held immediately got louder at the party’s special briefing on Sunday.
The current parliament term ends in This summer 2023.
