Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, stated that his goal is to strengthen Thailand’s soft power and expand job prospects.
At the opening ceremony of the” Thacca Splash – Soft Power Forum 2024″ opening ceremony at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on Friday, Mr. Srettha gave an outline of his vision. He claimed that the government’s soft electricity strategy is a part of a plan to reform the economy in order to address the problem of a large portion of the nation’s workforce being poor.
He emphasized the need to improve staff ‘ abilities, particularly imaginative ones, which will help in the digital era and lead to higher-paying positions.
Mr. Srettha claimed that the government’s main objective is to bring Thai people to happiness and improve the market by creating jobs and income streams.
To enhance Thailand’s soft power industry, the government may encourage citizens to become aware of their potential, establish a forum for foreign exchange of information, and raise awareness of Thai sweet power among the general public. According to Mr. Srettha, the government will establish the Thailand Creative Content Agency ( Thacca ) to collaborate with the private sector to advance soft power.
High-level government officials, including Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the head of the Pheu Thai Party and the director of the National Committee on Soft Power Development, attended the ceremony’s entry service.
Mr Paetongtarn even guided the prime minister through the museum at the conference, which consists of 21 stalls, four areas and 11 towers representing 11 companies.
She said the three- evening event features sweet power- related speak shows, exhibitions and workshops.
In addition, the One Family One Soft Power ( Ofos ) initiative is open for registration for the first time at the event.
