Following the fatal car bombing that occurred on June 30 inside Yala police flats, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim are scheduled to travel to the country’s three southern provinces following month.
The explosion, which killed an Islamic religious teacher and injured 16 people, including six police officers, was brought up for discussion at the Internal Security Operations Command ( Isoc ) in Bangkok on Wednesday. Mr Srettha is the Isoc producer.
During the attack, Mr. Srettha apparently had shut discussions with the military commander, deputy prime minister, and interior secretary Anutin Charnvirakul.
He likewise revealed a deal to travel to Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, the three southern provinces, with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, on August 3.
If necessary, the two leaders perhaps match sooner but Aug 3 is the ideal time for a visit, Mr Srettha said.
Before, the two leaders had a telephone conversation to explore the 44 fire problems that struck Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Songkhla on March 22.
Malaysia facilitates the harmony negotiations between the Thai government and the southwestern rebels, some of whom apparently have two Thai-Malaysian countries.
In the meantime, the National Human Rights Commission issued a speech denouncing the vehicles bombing and offering condolences to the families of the victims and the injured.
The committee also demanded that the government thoroughly investigate the incident and give the deceased’s family and those who were hurt by the attack whole assistance, as well as to ensure justice for all parties.
On Wednesday, an improvised explosive device ( IED ) was defused in Pattani’s Khok Pho district.
The weapon was positioned beneath a stone bench close to a convenience store.
