Institutions hit by floods, railways suspended
Although the Ping River is gradually decreasing, Chiang Mai city’s situation is still essential as floodwaters have damaged economic areas.

The State Railway of Thailand ( SRT ) announced that flooding has kept the trains running between Chiang Mai and Lampang. All carriages are presently halted at Lampang Station, and all passengers taking buses to and from Chaing Mai are doing so.
