Pimping mother child abuse case widened to include customers

Police have increased their probe into a case involving a lady who pimped her nine-year-old daughter and sold the video clips, to include male clients and people who bought or viewed the video clips.

Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD) police on Wednesday took the girl’s 25-year-old mother, identified only as Chantra,   plus two men who also allegedly paid for sexual intercourse with the child to the Criminal Court and applied to detain all of them for another 12 days. The court authorized the request.  

Microsoft Chantra was imprisoned at her home in Don Phut district of Saraburi province on Mon night following a police investigation that she had pimped her nine-year-old daughter plus sold videos of men with the girl.

The girl was charged along with procuring a girl aged 15 years or even less into the skin trade, colluding in the abuse of a minor and illegal ownership of pornographic material.

Both alleged customers had been identified as Chakhif Chuenchob, 58, and Thotsaphon Kaensawat, 33. They were also arrested on Monday. They were charged with colluding in child molestation, physically abusing a girl older below 13, and possessing pornographic materials.

ATPD commander Pol Maj Gen Wiwat Khamchamnan on Wednesday purchased investigators to broaden the investigation to find any others whom had sex with the child, or bought the videos and perhaps further  disseminated all of them and to whom. Legal action would be taken against those discovered involved, he mentioned.

Pol Col Phatthanaphong Sriphinphor, superintendent of ATPD sub-division 2, mentioned Ms Chantra accepted to having pimped her daughter during asking.

Mr Thotsaphon allegedly admitted to having paid for sex with the girl, yet said he had not been involved in the making from the videos. Mr Chakhif denied all costs and reserved his testimony for the court.

Law enforcement had opposed courtroom bail, Pol Col Phatthanaphong said.

According to the police investigation, Ms Chantra had pimped the girl daughter and offered the videos, through 2020 until the lady ws caught. About 100, 000 baht had moved by means of her bank account and she allegedly admitted the money mostly came from sale of the videos.

She allegedly admitted she acquired sold her child on only five occasions.

Pol Col Phatthanaphong said the two males who allegedly paid for sex with the young lady would be further researched, to find out if they taken care of sex with other children.
