The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning ( ONEP ) predicts that the Phu Phrabat Historical Park in Udon Thani, which is renowned for its distinctive natural and cultural characteristics, will be formally designated a world heritage site at a Unesco meeting in India later this month.

The confirmation of the selection may indicate the second time in a row that a blog from Thailand has been granted world heritage status. The difference was made last year by the Dvaravati landmarks in Phetchabun and the Ancient Town of Si Thep.

During a meeting of the New Delhi World Heritage Committee on July 21 and 28, the official statement about Phu Phrabat is scheduled for July 27 or 28.

” The ministers of Natural Resources and Culture may witness the event at the National Museum in Bangkok on that day, marking the country’s seventh world history site”, said Prasert Sirinapaporn, the ONEP secretary- standard. The Unesco World Heritage Committee will receive a thank-you information from the excellent secretary for addressing the nation’s cultural significance.

The abundant proof of religious conviction from the earliest Buddhist Dhavaravadi civilization as well as subsequent Hindu, Khmer, and Buddhist Lanchang nations can be found in Phu Phrabat Historical Park and the associated Sima place.

Unesco refers to Phu Phrabat as” the landscape of a woody sandstone hill adorned with patches of massive uncovered rocks in magnificent sloping positions, some healthy on pedestals of oddity.” The presence of visual art from various historical eras has demonstrated that this scenic and amazing beauty of nature has, over the centuries, had a powerful moral influence on people in the neighborhood, which is demonstrated by the presence of visual arts of various historical periods.

The ONEP anticipates that Songkhla and its related communities on Songkhla Lake will be included in Unesco’s preliminary list, with potential advertising to world heritage status in the next year or more.
