The training, which aim to improve connectivity between the two forces, come in response to China’s new aggressive behavior in the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, which have become hotbeds for Chinese and US conflicts.

Logico claimed that US soldiers and their Manila rivals may create retaking the islands held by hostile causes in the country’s northern islands, close to Taiwan, and in the northern province of Palawan, which faces the South China Sea.

For the first time since the monthly exercise began in 1991, a little French force will accompany the training this year. They will be sailing in Manila’s special economic area in the South China Sea with Philippine and US maritime vessels.

Around 14 nations will join as observers, including Japan, India and countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN ) and the European Union ( EU), Logico said.

Following year’s training will try to drop a mock army ship in Laoag, Ilocos state, in the northern city of Laoag.
