Pheu Thai Party leader Chan Puangpetch, who was unofficially supported, unofficially won the election for the provincial organization’s ( PAO ) president.

He received 192, 287 vote while Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit Toopkrajang had 191, 482 vote. After his earlier setback in 2020, Mr. Chan just managed to retake the chair again by 805 votes over Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit.

On Sunday evening, Mr. Chan stated at his home in the Sam Khok area that he was pleased that Pathum Thani people supported him. Additionally, he added that he must bless Thaksin Shinawatra and the Pheu Thai Party for their outstanding help.

In the municipal administrative poll, Mr. Chan and Pol Lt. Gen. Kamronwit were the two front-runners.

Prior to 2020, Mr. Chan served as Pathum Thani PAO leader three times before being defeated by Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit, a past Bangkok police commissioner who at the time had Pheu Thai support.

Prior to the PAO vote, political spectators noted that Thaksin and Pheu Thai numbers had campaigned in Pathum Thani for both Mr. Chan and Pheu Thai. The descendant of Thaksin’s Thai Rak Thai party lost most House seats in the province to the Move Forward Party ( MFP ) in the May 14, 2023 general election.

MFP won the election, but it was thwarted, causing a Pheu Thai-led coalition government with events affiliated with the defense. &nbsp,

But, polls indicate that more people now back the MFP and its essential candidate for prime minister’s office than they did at the previous election. However, the&nbsp, acceptance of Pheu Thai&nbsp, and its prime minister individuals has been left much on.
