Now that the ballot for a new prime minister has been delayed for at least another two days, the Pheu Thai Party has postponed its anticipated news about the formation of the government.

After House Speaker Wan Muhamad Noor Matha indefinitely postponed the ballot until after the Constitutional Court issues a decision on an associated problem on August 16, deputy president Phumtham Wechayachai broke the news on Thursday.

Pita Limjaroenrat, the leader of the Move Forward Party( MFP ), was nominated for prime minister on July 19 after he lost an earlier bid the previous week. The court claimed that it needed more time to consider the validity of that decision.

Legal experts and legal scholars, who claimed that voting for prime secretary was not a political motion and was therefore not subject to the customary administrative rules of parliament, harshly criticized the July 19 choice. According to those rules, a motion that was rejected may be reintroduced into the legislative session.

Move Forward acknowledged that Mr. Pita was unlikely to receive the help he required following the July 19 vote in parliament, which allowed Pheu Thai to try to form a government.

On Wednesday, Pheu Thai stated that it had become obvious that if the election-winning Move Forward remained in the eight-party fusion, it would not be able to secure support for a state. The latter will then join the opposite.

The information sparked irrational rumors about which events Pheu Thai would form a new partnership and how the government would be chosen.

When the day for choosing a prime minister comes, that information may be made public, according to Mr. Phumtham.

Pheu Thai will keep working with different political parties in the interim to win over more supporters. The sheriff party leader stated on Thursday that it is confident it has garnered enough support for its candidate for prime minister.

” The more seats we get, the more reliable the state is.” Stability will enable the government to more effectively pursue solutions for resolving the nation’s crisis. ( Story continues below. )

Pheu Thai chief Cholnan Srikaew cited Move Forward’s emphasis on amending Area 112 of the Criminal Code, also known as the lese-majeste law, in his extraordinary statement on Wednesday.

According to Dr. Cholnan,” It turns out that they do not take any transform to Section 112, and some parties also stated they would never meet a government with Move Forward anyhow.”

Pheu Thai had previously informed Move Forward that it would be leaving the initial eight-party bond and attempting to form a new partnership that may support Mr. Srettha.

Although the one-member Fair Party has announced that it will join the opposite seats in support of Move Forward, many of the original partnership members are anticipated to remain.

On Wednesday, MFP secretary-general Chaithawat Tulathon emphasized that Pheu Thai had previously requested that his party change its mind about the royal slander rules. It merely made note of the fact that other parties had previously stated they had not back a government that tried to alter Section 112.
