A petition submitted by the opposition looking for a ruling around the legal political tenure of Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Prayut Chan-o-cha was forwarded to the Constitutional Court by the secretariat of the House of Associates on Monday.
The petition was initially handed in order to Parliament President Chuan Leekpai on Aug seventeen , and was checked before becoming forwarded to the courtroom on Monday. It was signed by 171 members of parliament.
The particular court did not fixed a date to principle on whether it could accept the petition for deliberation, but it was expected to associated with call on Wednesday.
If the courtroom accepts the case it will then make another decison, on regardless of whether Gen Prayut should be temporarily suspended through office until the judges rule on the problem, or if he should continue to work as the prime minister.
