PDI-P’s Megawati orders party leaders to withdraw from Prabowo’s retreat after her close aide’s corruption arrest

Java: All leaders of Indonesia’s largest celebration- Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle ( PDI-P)- had been ordered to remove from President Prabowo Subianto’s surrender by PDI-P president Megawati Soekarnoputri. &nbsp,

Megawati issued the policy shortly after Hasto Kristiyanto’s arrest on graft costs. &nbsp,

” All regional leaders and deputies are advised to postpone their travels to the Magelang ( in Central Java ), scheduled for February 21 to February 28, 2025.

The circular signed by Megawati on Thursday ( Feb 20 ), as quoted by the local news agency Jakarta Globe, read,” Those already en route must halt their journey and await further instructions.” &nbsp,

Megawati also instructed PDI-P’s elected representatives to use their communication devices to stay on standby throughout her order. &nbsp,

All elected local officials, sworn in on Thursday, were scheduled to attend a pondering retreat at a military college in Magelang, alongside Prabowo and other vital statistics. &nbsp,

His Cabinet ministers were given the same flee after their inauguration in late October of last year. &nbsp,

Hasto was arrested on Thursday night, following an investigation program with the officials at the anti-graft company’s office in Jakarta, reported The Jakarta Post.
