A fact-finding analysis has begun into a good allegation that an older police officer in Bangkok’s Bang Phlat region molested a TV actress while she was sleeping in a house in Khannayao district.
Pol Col Naren Khuengsanuk, police key st Khannayao, stated on Thursday that investigators would call witnesses to give statements. If the allegations had been found to have environment, the police officer will be summonsed to acknowledge charges.
Pol Col Prinya Luang-uthai, chief associated with Bang Phlat police, said on Thursday said the supposed molestation involved a chief investigator at Bang Phlat. He or she confirmed that a fact-finding probe was launched as well as the accused officer will be called to give their account of the supposed incident.
On Wednesday evening, 26-year-old actress Jaibua Hidding, accompanied by attorney Sittra Biabangkerd, filed a complaint with Khannayao police against the chief investigator in Bang Phlat law enforcement station, for allegedly molesting her in a house in Khubon of Khannayao region.
Based on the lawyer, the Thai-Dutch actress went to a celebration with three close friends, a man and two women, on the night of Aug 1 . Around 3am on Aug 2, a woman friend invited them to go another party at a friend’s home in a housing property in Khubon area.
On arriving at the home they met the master, a man, and his police friend. They drank together in the lounge room. Microsoft Jaibua said that around 4am she sensed drowsy and inquired to sleep to the sofa, near where the others were partying. She did not consume any more alcohol there after.
About 9am, she awoke to the feeling of somebody fondling her entire body and breasts. The lady saw that the police officer was trying to rest on the same sofa with her, and has been caressing her body.
She was surprised and looked about for her friends. The girl saw only one other person, a male friend sleeping on another sofa. She woke him up and so they immediately left the home.
Mr Sittha alleged that this accused police officer had tried to contact Microsoft Jaibua, through the house owner and friends, to apologise for his actions. The house owner tried to mediate within the talks, but Microsoft Jaibua was determined to follow through on the case, the lawyer said.
